Dr. Abdullah Akba\u015f<\/strong>; hidro-jeomorfoloji ve ta\u015fk\u0131n risk y\u00f6netimi alanlar\u0131ndaki y\u00fcksek nitelikli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131yla bu prestijli \u00f6d\u00fcle lay\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fclen gen\u00e7 akademisyenler aras\u0131nda yer ald\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Akba\u015f, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ilk kez 1928\u2019den g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze uzanan ulusal \u00f6l\u00e7ekli <strong>FlooDOT<\/strong> (Flood Inventory of T\u00fcrkiye) ta\u015fk\u0131n envanterini olu\u015fturarak \u00fclkemizin dijital ta\u015fk\u0131n haf\u0131zas\u0131n\u0131 kurmu\u015f ve bu verileri makine \u00f6\u011frenmesi tabanl\u0131 dinamik karar destek sistemlerine d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcren \u00f6zg\u00fcn bir metodoloji geli\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. \u00d6zellikle ta\u015fk\u0131n s\u00fcre\u00e7lerini ve y\u00fczey suyu de\u011fi\u015fimlerini tetikleyen iklimsel s\u00fcre\u00e7ler ile antropojenik etkileri ileri seviye uzaktan alg\u0131lama teknikleri ve y\u00fcksek \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fcrl\u00fckl\u00fc uydu verileriyle net bir \u015fekilde ayr\u0131\u015ft\u0131ran ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131, ta\u015fk\u0131n duyarl\u0131l\u0131k analizlerinden stratejik afet politikas\u0131 \u00fcretimine uzanan s\u00fcre\u00e7lerde jeomorfoloji disiplinine yeni ve b\u00fct\u00fcnsel bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 kazand\u0131rm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Havza \u00f6l\u00e7e\u011finde y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00e7ok y\u00f6nl\u00fc analizlerle ta\u015fk\u0131n riskini sosyo-ekonomik s\u00fcre\u00e7lerle entegre eden ve T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin afet diren\u00e7lili\u011fi vizyonuna jeomorfoloji ekseninde kritik referanslar sunan de\u011ferli hocam\u0131z\u0131, bu se\u00e7kin ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 i\u00e7tenlikle tebrik ediyoruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bilimsel birikimi ve ta\u015fk\u0131n hidro-jeomorfolojisi alan\u0131ndaki \u00f6nc\u00fc \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131yla camiam\u0131z\u0131 gururland\u0131ran Dr. Abdullah Akba\u015f\u2019a ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n devam\u0131n\u0131
